Dear Planet e Studios Families,
Happy March! As spring approaches, we’re all warming up to a steady rhythm in our lessons and classes. We’ve watched so many progressive steps forward this past winter; a steadier bow hold here, a stronger vocal phrase there, a first-time smile after nailing a tricky chord change- Those moments light up our days.
With Spring Break just around the corner (March 16th–22nd), we hope you find time to rest, play, and maybe sneak in a little extra humming or strumming at home. We’re grateful you’re part of this musical community — let’s keep the melody moving!

Our talented competitors head to the Initial Round of FLAME’s Young Musicians Competition, this Saturday, at Planet e Studios. You’ve put in such dedicated practice — we’re proud of every scale, every supported breath, and every expression you’ve polished.
Check your email from flaglerflame@gmail.com with the schedule and day-of procedures. Be sure to arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled time; we will be moving along quickly.

Springfest 2026
This Saturday, March 7th, 10am!
The Palm Coast–Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce has invited our students to open this year’s SpringFest at Central Park Town Center this Saturday at 10AM!
While the Young Musicians Competition is taking place at the studio, our Senior Youth Rock Band, Rúju, will be providing the live entertainment for the festival kickoff. We are so proud to have our students representing us in the community!
Grand Villa Showcase
Sunday, March 15th, 2pm
Right before we kick off Spring Break, join us for another heartwarming afternoon at Grand Villa Senior Living. Our students always bring such warmth to the residents, and the connections that form afterward are truly special.
Limited spots, as always — contact your teacher or our Music Director, Emily, to sign up. These visits remind us how music bridges generations so beautifully.
Reminder: If you need community service hours, each visit counts for two hours of community service.

Our group class for ages 6–10 keeps the joy flowing week after week. Mr. John guides them through hands-on fun with keyboards, ukuleles, drums, and more — group jams, solo spotlights, and plenty of laughter.
Confidence blooms here, friendships form, and musical curiosity is nourished. Just a couple spots remain — Step Up For Students families, check the EMA Portal; others, drop us a note to join the harmony!
Saturday, April 4th, 4pm-6pm
What a perfect way to officially welcome Spring! Planet e Studios has four groups ready to take the stage at the Italian Festival, from 4pm-6pm. You’ll see two of our Youth Rock Bands: “The Undetermined” and “Insighted,” as well as our First Act: Musical Theatre Class, and our talented teacher band, “Friday Morning Jam Club.”
Head over to the Flagler County Fairgrounds on April 4th and expect lively music, good food, and that wonderful community energy. Our performers have been rehearsing with such focus and excitement — we can’t wait for you to see their growth on stage.
Come support, cheer, and enjoy the day together.
Youth Rock Band Showcases & Spots Available
Our rockers are gearing up for two big community moments: the Italian Festival on April 4th at the Flagler County Fairgrounds, 4pm-6pm (as mentioned above) and the Spring Arts Festival & Garden Show on May 9th, at Central Park in Town Center, 1pm-3pm.
These events let them blend skills, creativity, and teamwork in front of friendly crowds — exactly what makes the program so rewarding.
If your child loves rock and wants to join the band vibe, reach out to the business line 386.242.4014 for an audition, or fill out the online form on our website. We love bringing in more students to the mix. That being said, starting Tuesday, April 7th, we are launching an All Girl Youth Rock Band that will meet weekly from 6:30pm-7:30pm! When our students voice their interests, we do our best to make it happen.

Summer Musical Theatre Camp

🎭🎵”Robin Hood: The Musical” takes center stage this summer at Planet e Studios! 🎵🎭
Registration for our summer musical theatre adventure opens this month! For ages 7–17, we have 20 spots available for an entertaining and educational summer camp experience. led by the talented, Miss Hannah Pierce.
Students will have four weeks of song, story, movement, and magic — Monday–Friday, 8:30am–1pm — culminating in two joyful performances of Robin Hood: The Musical (Friday evening, July 31st & Saturday afternoon, August 1st).
Step Up For Students Families: you can find this camp on the EMA Portal. All Families: tell your teacher that you’re interested and we will add you to our roster. Stay tuned for more updates, the official registration link will open right before Spring Break — this Summer Musical Theatre Camp is going to be full of Medieval mayhem and the best (and worst) of Nottingham.
Teacher Spotlight: Monica Mathews
Monica has been with Planet e Studios for 7 months and counting! She brings life to our studio as our only violin and saxophone teacher. With us Thursdays and Fridays, Monica fills the void Palm Coast has for violin and saxophone instruction. Her students are already performing in our recitals and at Grand Villa Senior Living Facility. Monica is always there to support her students when they perform, and she herself is a core member of our own teacher band, Friday Morning Jam Club! You can catch her live at the Italian Festival April 4th. Thank you for being a part of our Planet e family, Monica!
Step Up for Students Recipients
Submit funds by the 1st of every month on EMA Portal
A quick, friendly note for our Step Up families: please keep those EMA Portal payments current. It helps everything run smoothly so that we can focus our energy on the teaching and not the chasing. If there are 5 Mondays in a month, submit 5 lessons for that month. If there are 4 Thursdays in a month, submit 4 lessons for that month.
Be sure to submit lessons BEFORE the start of a month. We appreciate your diligence!!
Make-up Lessons Reminder
Make-up Lesson Days fall on the second Saturday of most months (or an alternate Saturday, if needed). Check the “What’s Happening” board in the studio for the full year list of Make-up dates. For March, our Make-up Lesson Day is Saturday , March 14th. Message the business line to sign up and reserve a spot.
