NFMC District Festival Results State Festival May 9-10, 2025 Last month, Planet e Studios had an outstanding showing at the NFMC’s District Festival. There were 447 entrants who came and performed, and our studio came home with 33 Superior ratings, 3 Excellent ratings, and 1 Comments Only. What’s Happening in February, 2025
NFMC District Festival February 15th, 8:30am-4pm Planet e Studios has 41 students registered for the Festival Program this year, in voice, piano, and snare drum. On Saturday, February 15, 2025, each student will perform two pieces for a music judge and will receive a rating on their performance. Our own Mr. Omar will even be accompanying our voice students on the piano. Whoever receives a “Superior” rating can then go on to State Festival at USF in Tampa, in May 2025. What’s Happening in January, 2025
Filming in Studio January 11th During our next make-up day, we will have a film crew coming into the studio to capture some video of all our amazing students and teachers. They will be sure to only interrupt minimally as they move from room to room. This filming is for future promotions of our studio and will get more awareness out about Planet e and the programs we offer. Fantasy Lights at Town Center Saturday, December 7th @ 6:30pm The 19th Annual Fantasy Lights Festival is back at Town Center, and Planet e Studios is participating! All students are invited to join us and sing Christmas carols, and our Youth Rock Band Program will perform a piece too. Arrival is 6:30pm and we’ll start singing at 7pm. Bunnell Italian Festival | Youth Rock Band Showcase We had a great time at the Bunnell Italian Festival! Our Youth Rock Band presented their showcase for the semester (which was awesome), and Rūju, Planet e Studios’ house band, played some jams as well. We also had some amazing soloists: Lindy, Faith, Cline, Marianne, Meaganne, and Sophia, who did so great performing live, with tech mishaps and all! The crowd loved seeing our students perform. Island Fest 7 Saturday, October 12th, 6:30pm Join us at Town Center at 6:30pm on Saturday, October 12th, in front of the fountain, to root on a band that started with Planet e Studios, and has now become their own band that practices outside of Planet e Studios and gigs regularly!
