Join us at Town Center at 6:30pm on Saturday, October 12th, in front of the fountain, to root on a band that started with Planet e Studios, and has now become their own band that practices outside of Planet e Studios and gigs regularly! Introducing: Rūju featuring our own Apollo, Ava, Charlie, Chris, and Andrii. Tickets are available at Sylvain’s Caribbean Restaurant downstairs for $10, or $15 online, or $20 at the door. Island Fest 7 is a family friendly event from 12pm-10pm, with a kid zone, arts and crafts area, food trucks, and even a kids’ drumming circle from 1pm-2pm.

Bunnell Italian Festival

Saturday, October 19th, 12pm

Planet e Studios will be presenting our Youth Rock Band Showcase at the Bunnell Italian Festival Saturday, October 19th, at 12pm, at the Flagler County Fairgrounds! Our 7 student band has been hard at work preparing covers and originals to perform at this event. In addition, we’ll also have a few solo performers singing and playing piano, representing Planet e Studios. Admission to the festival is free, with a $1 parking donation, and there will be indoor & outdoor booths, activities, and food for the whole family to enjoy. We’re so looking forward to seeing our students on stage, entertaining the public. Come on out and see them, and make it a family fun day!

Grand Villa Senior Living Facility

Sunday, October 20th, 2pm

Don’t miss out on our upcoming Grand Villa performance on Sunday, October 20th. If you have a passion for performing and want to showcase your talent, make sure to inform your teacher or reach out to Mrs. Emily directly. These performances provide a wonderful chance to share the gift of music with the community. The residents eagerly look forward to our visits and often sing along with us, especially during the group sing-a-long at the end of each show. We are grateful for the relationships we’ve built with the residents and how our students are feeling more and more comfortable performing in front of others.

If you’re unsure about performing, you are always more than welcome to come out and support, to see what it’s like and to make a new friend!

Sunday, October 20th @ 2pm

Sunday, November 17th @ 2pm

Sunday, December 15th @ 2pm

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to join our Youth Rock Band Program!

Auditions will be held on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, at 1pm, and registration is now open on our website at planetestudios.com/youth-rock-band. If this is your first semester, auditioning is a requirement to secure your spot in the program and to best select which group of students to place you with. Current youth rock band students are not required to audition again.

Our program is all about unleashing your inner rockstar! Each semester is packed with 12 weekly action-packed sessions, and at the end of each semester, we have an unforgettable showcase featuring our talented bands. For this semester we are able to have our showcase at the Bunnell Italian Festival on October 19th, at 12pm, at the Flagler County Fairgrounds, like you read above, in this newsletter.

Youth Rock Band is a chance for you to shine and show off your skills like never before. The cost for each semester is $250. Additionally, new students pay a $15 registration fee.

When you join us, you’ll be part of a tight-knit community that is passionate about music. You’ll engage in weekly sessions with a skilled instructor and fellow band members who share the same love for music as you do. Together, you’ll explore and master a range of instruments like guitar, bass, drums, voice, keyboard, and more, creating a comprehensive musical journey that will take you to new heights.

Winter Recitals 2024

Saturday, December 14th & 21st

Recitals are incredible opportunities for our students to set goals and achieve them, while expressing and sharing our love for music with one another and the community.

The number of students participating will determine how many shows we have and the official showtimes. Each student performs in one show. Current projection: 12:30pm & 2:30pm both Saturdays. We will have this solidified by November 1st, as long as everyone registers by October 20th. You can register for recital by clicking the button below:

This will be our 14th recital showcase and we’re looking forward to hearing our students sing and play their hearts out, as usual!

Our recitals are free and open to the public.

For students participating in the Winter Recital, there is a $20 registration fee per student to cover costs. If a student wants to perform in multiple mediums (i.e. voice and piano, separately, or an additional duet), the registration fee is $40.

If you or your children would like to participate in this recital, please let your teacher know ASAP so that you can begin choosing your performance piece!

Pokémon TCG Meetup

October 6th, 2pm

Planet e Studios hosts Pokemon TCG Meetups on the FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH***. With one meetup per month, we provide a focused and engaging experience for our participants. To ensure that you don’t miss out on these exciting events, we will post reminders on our Facebook and Instagram pages leading up to each meetup, so be sure to be following us to stay updated.

Our Pokemon TCG Meetups are designed to be a fun opportunity for players of all skill levels to come together, learn the game, engage in trading, and enjoy some friendly competition. We look forward to seeing you at our next meetup!

Our Music Exploration class, led by Miss Hannah, is a small group class for 3-5 year olds and their respective adult. We meet every Wednesday at 11am for an hour of musical fun.

Music explorers engage in a variety of activities with finger-plays, speaking, singing, movement, dancing, and instrumental features. Each student has access to pitched and non-pitched instruments such as the piano, xylophones, tambourines, bells and shakers of all sorts, drums, triangles, and wood sounders.

Through guided music activities and student-led learning, we explore musical elements and develop early music skills in addition to memory and brain development, hand-eye coordination, ear training, recognition and listening skills, social skills and confidence building.
